Adele is all smiles as she joins fiance Rich Paul to watch her pal Beyonce’s birthday concert… but doesn’t appear to stick to silver dress code
Adele was all smiles as she was spotted attending her close friend Beyoncé’s birthday concert in Los Angeles on Monday night.
The singer, 35, was joined by her fiancé Rich Paul as the pair sat in a VIP box to watch the star-studded concert at the Sofia Stadium with their pals.
The Renaissance show marked Beyoncé’s 42nd birthday and the singer had asked concert-goers to wear all-silver outfits to celebrate her big day with her.
However, it appeared that Adele opted against wearing silver as she was seen wearing a black ensemble while sitting in the VIP box with Rich.
Adele cut a stylish figure in a black long-sleeved jacket, but did add a touch of glitz with a pair of hoop earrings to complete her ensemble.

Her fiancé Rich cut an equally trendy figure in a black T-shirt and a smart blazer, and addded a small touch of silver to his look with a chain necklace.
He shielded his eyes with a pair of dark square sunglasses and was seen chatting with Adele and their pals as they listened to the music.
Adele was seen putting on an animated display during the show as she smiled, laughed and pulled faces while sitting in the crowds.
Her appearance at the show in a black ensemble comes after Adele admitted she was feeling stressed about the all-silver dress code.
Beyonce had asked her fans to dress up like ‘disco balls’ when they attend the gig, with the singer asking concert-goers to pull out all of the stops.
During her Weekends With Adele performance on Saturday, Adele opened up to her fans about the struggles she was having with the request.
Adele, who typically dresses in black for her shows, told the crowd: ‘I’m gonna go see Beyonce on Monday; I’m very excited.

However, Adele had a change of heart and said she had decided to commit to her Beyonce-themed look – but appeared to have changed her mind again before the big night.
She said at the time: ‘I was awake ’til like 3am the other night on Amazon buying, like, glitter ball clothes. She asked everyone to dress up, so I’m gonna look really cheap in like a disco ball.
‘It’s all from Amazon, and it’s arriving over the weekend while I’m here so god knows what I’m gonna look like.’
The 70,000-plus capacity show attracted plenty of stars as the likes of Lizzo, Kim Kardashian, Zendaya, Vanessa Hudgens and Kylie Jenner were also among the A-listers at the event.
Beyoncé not only wound down the last of her three Renaissance Tour stops in LA on Monday, but also celebrated her 42nd birthday, with a special surprise guest taking the stage to sing Happy Birthday to her – Diana Ross.
The crowd was left very impressed when the 79-year-old diva took to the stage during the evening, in a glamorous glittering black gown.
She helped lead the crowd in singing Happy Birthday at just after 11pm, hours after rumours surfaced that she would make a surprise appearance.
Diana came out to sing her song Love Hangover, before wishing Queen Bey a happy birthday, with Beyoncé rushing up to give her a hug with tears in her eyes.
‘I’m here to celebrate Beyoncé’s birthday,’ Diana said, as Beyoncé was seen mouthing, ‘I love you,’ back to her.
She lead the crowd in a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday, and after the song they embraced again, as Diana was heard asking, ‘Were you surprised?’
‘Thank you so much! You are so amazing! This is the legendary Diana Ross!’ Beyonce said as the crowd cheered for both living legends.

After performing Flaws and All, she delivered a passionate birthday speech, thanking the fans, her family and the original members of her group Destiny’s Child.
‘My soul is full. I’m so thankful, I’m trying not to cry. I’m thankful to be alive. I’m thankful to be on stage. I’m thankful to look out and see your faces,’ she began.
‘I’m thankful to be able to provide a safe space for all of y’all. I’m thankful for music, for the ability to heal myself through music which then heals all of you,’ she added.
She went on to thank her parents Tina and Matthew Knowles and her husband Jay-Z, even referencing her hit 2016 album Lemonade.
