Geelong player Rhys Stanley and his wife Kirsten have announced the arrival of their third child together, a baby boy named Hudson Edward Stanley.

The AFL star, 32, shared the joyful news to his Instagram on Tuesday alongside a series of photos of the adorable tot.

‘Our little man didn’t muck around and decided he wanted to make quick work of his introduction to the world which made for some fun!’ Rhys wrote.

‘So proud of my superwoman @kirstenstanley. We are two incredibly lucky parents and can’t wait for the journey ahead with our little fam.’

Kirsten also announced the exciting news to her Instagram page, writing: ‘Our little man joined us nice and fast, hoping those walls were sound proof in the labour room.’

‘Can not thank the amazing staff enough at @epworthbabies who were incredible! We’ve been in our newborn bubble and oh my there really isn’t anything like this.’

She continued: ‘Our little family of 5. We are forever grateful and completely in love with our little Huddi.’

The couple also share son Jagger and daughter Sloane.

Rhys and Kirsten tied the knot in 2018 at a farm owned by her parents near Margaret River in Western Australia.

The pair exchanged vows under a timber arch, with their son Jagger acting as ring bearer.

Among the 110 guests to attend were Rhys’ Geelong teammates Patrick Dangerfield, Joel Selwood, Mitch Duncan and Zach Tuohy.

‘The most special year we have ever had. Looking forward to 2019 as Mr and Mrs,’ Kirsten said at the time.
