And she certainly didn’t disappoint during her stint on The Crystal Maze.
The team, also made up of captain Sunetra Sarker, Love Island’s Wes Nelson, Matthew Wright and Nikki Sanderson, decided she would be the one to take on the second task of the game.
Ann’s challenge involved her having to refill a sand timer faster than it was emptying out, by throwing sandbags as levers on the wall to release more red sand into the chamber.
In order to get the Tory politician to nail her focus on the targets, Matthew told her to ‘imagine they’re Labour voters, imagine they’re remainers, Ann!’
And it seemed to work for a while as she pummelled them with the sand bags.
We’ll never be able to forget the image of Ann yelling ‘Remainers!’ and ‘Corbyn! EU!’ as she tried to lob the bags in order to fill up the sand timer.
Sadly, she didn’t manage to win the challenge, but she certainly worked out a lot of issues in that room.
The Crystal Maze is better than therapy. Who knew?
Viewers didn’t quite know what to make of Ann’s appearance on the show.
‘Richard Ayoade to Ann Widdecombe as she throws bean bags at a target “Imagine that its someone who wants a living wage”,’ one said.
‘Ann Widdecombe on Celebrity #crystalmaze?! I feel like I’ve entered a parallel reality, and not one I want to stay in,’ another joked.
While a Twitter user added: ‘@TheCrystalMaze The really interesting thing is that Ann Widdecombe can’t let go of her EU obsession even when she’s just playing a game.
‘She must be really bad at Scrabble.’
It’s not Ann’s first foray into reality TV, however – nobody can forget Anton Du Beke whirling the politician round the Strictly dancefloor in a hurry.
Although her dancing was… not quite up to par, their comedic routines managed to get Ann and Anton into the ninth week of the competition.
Strictly and The Crystal Maze done… who else wants to see Ann take on I’m A Celeb… next?
