Aussies use an EXCAVATOR to launch themselves into their farm dam in sweltering heat

An Australian man’s brilliant attempt to escape the heat by swinging into a dam using an excavator has gone viral on Tik Tok.

The clip showed the shirtless larrikin dangle from a rope attached to the machinery at a rural farm as one of his mates, who sat in the control box, swung him through the air.

He flew about 15metres above the dam before cannon-balling into it, making a huge splash as a pair of dogs followed him into the water.

The footage, which was captioned ‘Not all heroes wear capes’, was the first Tik Tok made by user, Dylan Roney, on December 22.

It has since been viewed over 235,000 times with over 21,000 likes and counting.

‘I belong to the drinking class. Monday through Friday, man we bust our backs,’ sang the lyrics of the country song, Drinking Class by Lee Brice, played over the short clip.

‘I want to do this,’ commented one viewer, while another said: ‘Welcome to Australia.’

A third joked: ‘This is why women live longer.’
