Sunrise host David Koch is taunted by his co-hosts as he gets flustered over Margot Robbie’s racy scenes in new film Babylon: ‘It’s wild… you’d enjoy it’

Sunrise presenter David ‘Kochie’ Koch was left blushing on Monday during a discussion about Margot Robbie‘s raunchy scenes in her latest movie Babylon.

The two-time Oscar nominee plays an unhinged starlet taking advantage of every debauched opportunity in 1920s Hollywood in the Damien Chazelle-directed film.

Kochie, 66, looked a little flustered as newsreader Edwina Bartholomew, who interviewed Margot during the Babylon press junket, spoke about the film’s nudity.

‘It’s debaucherous, it’s something else. Her performance is amazing and [there are] lots of great Aussies in the cast,’ Edwina said of the highly anticipated film.

Her remarks piqued Kochie’s interest, who asked if the movie was worth seeing.

‘It’s wild. I think you’d enjoy it,’ Edwina said, which prompted Sunrise co-anchor Natalie Barr to ask: ‘It’s very rude, isn’t it?’

‘Why? Would I enjoy it?’ a surprised Kochie said.

‘I don’t know, you’ve got that sensibility,’ responded Edwina, before adding: ‘There was so much fuss about Margot Robbie kissing Brad Pitt – a peck on the lips. That’s the least of your worries!’

‘Oh, okay,’ Kochie squirmed, swiftly moving on to the next segment.
