Beyonce celebrated her 42nd birthday on stage with a special surprise guest taking the stage to sing Happy Birthday to her: Diana Ross.
The superstar singer wound down the last of three Los Angeles Renaissance Tour stops in style on Monday in front of a star-studded crowd.
The 70,000-plus capacity crowd at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles was quite stunned when diva Diana, 79, took to the stage in a glamorous glittering black gown.
She helped lead the crowd in singing Happy Birthday at just after 11 PM on Monday evening, hours after rumors surfaced that she would make a surprise appearance.
Just like the first two concerts in L.A. over the weekend, the crowd was filled with celebrities, like Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet, seemingly going public with their romance after month of rumors that they have been dating.

Other celebs in attendance included Adele, Zendaya, Tom Holland, Kate Hudson, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Chris Rock, Lizzo, Katy Perry, Kate Hudson, Normani, Brandy, Kim and Khloé Kardashian, and many more.
The show began exactly at 9:04 PM – coinciding with her birthday on September 4 (9/4), with Ross taking the stage a few hours later, greeting the crowd with, ‘Hello LA!’
Ross came out to sing her song Love Hangover, before wishing Queen Bey a happy birthday, with Bey rushing up to give her a hug with tears in her eyes.
‘I’m here to celebrate Beyoncé’s birthday,’ Ross said, as Bey was seen mouthing, ‘I love you,’ to Ross.
She lead the crowd in a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday, and after the song they embraced again, as Ross is heard asking, ‘Were you surprised?’
‘Thank you so much! You are so amazing! This is the legendary Diana Ross!’ Beyonce said as the crowd cheered for both living legends.
After performing Flaws and All, she delivered a passionate birthday speech, thanking the fans, her family and the original members of her group Destiny’s Child.
‘My soul is full. I’m so thankful, I’m trying not to cry. I’m thankful to be alive. I’m thankful to be on stage. I’m thankful to look out and see your faces,’ she began.
‘I’m thankful to be able to provide a safe space for all of y’all. I’m thankful for music, for the ability to heal myself through music which then heals all of you,’ she added.

She went on to thank her parents Tina and Matthew Knowles and her husband Jay-Z, even referencing her hit 2016 album Lemonade.
‘I’m thankful for every tear, for every year. I’m thankful for my children. I’m thankful for my husband. I’m thankful for all the s**t we’ve been through,’ she said.
‘I’m thankful for my beautiful father who is here tonight; I thank you for his sacrifice, for his pain. I’m thankful for my mother, my beautiful queen. I’m thankful that we all have the ability to make lemonade out of our lemons,’ she said.
She added that she is also, ‘thankful for Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, LeToya Luckett, LaTavia Robertson,’ the members of Destiny’s Child.
‘I’m thankful for all of you guys who have been with me since 1997. I’m thankful for every flaw, for every stretch mark, every FUPA. I thank you that I’m here at f***ing 42. I’m grateful for joy and I thank God. I thank you, God,’ she concluded.
