Big Brother’s live season finale ‘will go ahead despite the Covid outbreak’

Big Brother Australia‘s highly anticipated live finale is set to go ahead, despite Sydney’s Covid outbreak.

Producers of the Seven reality show, hosted by Sonia Kruger, have been hard at work preparing for the end of the season, reports The Daily Telegraph.

The original plan was for all 26 contestants from across the country to jet to Sydney for the season finale at Hordern Pavilion.

But with Sydney hanging on a knife’s edge due to the current Covid outbreak, the entire cast is unlikely to reunite.

Now, it seems there will be a smaller number of housemates in attendance, and they will appear on stage in front of a Covid-safe studio audience.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Channel Seven for comment and clarification.
