Billie recently revealed she had an embarrassing encounter with the British Royal Family last year.

It occurred at the No Time to Die premiere in London when she met King Charles III and Camilla, Queen Consort – then the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall – and Prince William and Catherine Middleton, now the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Billie told Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa last week she studied protocol and had learnt all about curtsying and how to properly address royalty – but that all went out the window upon meeting them.

‘They all walked in and were like, “What’s up? How are you? How’s it going?” and I was like, “Oh, my God!”‘ she laughed.

The Los Angeles native said she was surprised by how ‘normal’ they were and was happy they turned a potentially nerve-wracking situation into an enjoyable one.

Billie kicked off the Australian leg of her tour last week at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena and will perform at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on Thursday night.
