‘You were gorgeous in both though! Some people suck,’ another commented.

A fan even showed their support for Aimee’s time on the Channel Nine show, writing: ‘You were actually my #1 on the beauty and the geek! Broke my heart when you were eliminated.’

Aimee was a contestant on this year’s Beauty and the Geek, teaming up with ‘geek’ Jayden, 24.

The pair were sadly sent home after going up against Emily and Jason in Sophie’s elimination quiz last week.

Aaron Seeto and Karly Fisher were crowned the winners of Beauty and the Geek on Wednesday night.

The pair, both 30, beat competing couples Christopher and Bri and Anthony and Tegan to take home the whopping $100,000 prize money.

The pair were immediately overwhelmed following the announcement.

‘I don’t usually get emotional, but at times like this it’s needed,’ Aaron said, with tears welling-up in his eyes.

Karly went on to say her heart has been ‘cracked wide open’ after the win.

‘It’s real. It wasn’t a dream. That happened. Thank you, guys, so much for believing in us,’ she said.

Aaron also spoke of his huge surge in confidence with him even revealing to the geeks and beauties his ‘biggest insecurity’ – his false front teeth.

‘Going in I was so nervous, I have had so much self-doubt, I didn’t believe in myself and now that’s all kicked to the curb,’ Aaron said.

‘I’ve just become so much more confident between the person I was before to the person I am now,’ he added.

The train driver said he would be using the money to fix his teeth with extensive dental work.

"It's real. It wasn't a dream. That happened. Thank you, guys, so much for believing in us,' Karly said

The three remaining couples were forced to make a pitch on the show before ex-contestants voted on who should be crowned the winners.

Karly said often people found her to be ‘too much’ but Aaron allowed her to be herself since the pair first met.

‘I think the hardest thing for me personally would be coming into this and being too much. I didn’t want to scare you [Aaron],’ Karly said, honestly.

Aaron reflected on his loneliness saying he felt ‘lost’ and his ‘time was up’ before he entered the competition.

‘I felt like I was lost. I was 30. I thought my time was up. Every time I would look in the mirror I would just see average Aaron. Like, nothing special,’ he said.

He admitted he was thrown a really big lifeline on Beauty and the Geek.

‘Before all this I was shy, I was so awkward,’ he said.

‘Karly, I wouldn’t be where I am today without you. You’ve just come into my life and impacted it in the most positive way possible.’
