“I’m just going to approach practice trying to perfect my craft, trying to get better, always being there for my teammates. This is still a team-first game, so whoever’s first, if Nick’s the starter going forward, it is what it is and I’ve got to have his back just like he had mine. It’s always team first, but while we’re out at practice, I’ve got to just continue to get better, work on my craft and make sure I’m pushing my teammates because I’m still a leader on this team and I feel like guys still look at me. When bad stuff happens, you’ve just got to roll with the punches and keep battling through. We did that the second half, and I’m proud of the guys for battling back, finding a way to win, and that’s how I’m going to attack practice. Just keep trying to get better and try to bring a positive attitude every single day.
