Brendan Fevola abruptly cancels his summer holiday plans on the Gold Coast – fuelling rumours he could appear on The Masked Singer

Brendan Fevola has cancelled his summer holiday to the Gold Coast due to a ‘last-minute commitment’ – leading to rumours he may appear on The Masked Singer.

Speaking on his Melbourne radio show on Friday, the former AFL star, 41, dodged questions about what he’s doing instead of his planned family vacation.

‘I had a holiday booked to the Gold Coast… had to cancel yesterday,’ he told co-hosts Fifi Box and Nick Cody on Fifi, Fev & Nick.

Fifi told listeners Fev was paying $17 on Sportsbet to be one of the contestants on The Masked Singer this year.

Brendan countered this by saying the bookies claim he’ll be starring on the Channel 10 show every year – but he is yet to make an appearance.

The Masked Singer is usually filmed in Sydney; however, Brendan is adamant he will be in Melbourne this summer.

Brendan and his partner Alex have just finished renovating their home in Melbourne.

As the radio hosts listed Sportsbet’s favourites to appear on The Masked Singer, Brendan was triggered when someone suggested Kylie Minogue.

‘There’s better chance bigfoot will turn up,’ he joked.

Other candidates include singers Troye Sivan and Meg Mac.
