British Fashion Awards 2019: Lottie Moss proves a match for sister Kate in Victorian inspired gown

She is a successful model and the younger sister of fashion icon Kate Moss.

And Lottie Moss proved to be a match for Kate in the fashion department as she stepped out on Monday at the Royal Albert Hall for the British Fashion Awards.

The blonde beauty, 21, dared to stand out from the crowd in her eccentric all-black tulle gown which featured a buttoned-up waistcoat.

The full-length outfit boasted a puffed trailing skirt, while the waistcoat emphasised Lottie’s busty frame.

Posing with her hand on her hip, the model showed why she is a rising star on the catwalk as she oozed confidence with her look.

The glamour icon’s blonde tresses were slicked back into a ponytail, while her blue eyes stood out with a touch of make-up.

The Fashion Awards 2019 recognises creativity and innovation in fashion, celebrating exceptional individuals whose imagination and creativity have broken new ground in fashion globally over the past 12 months as well as the brands and businesses that have transformed the possibilities of fashion today.

Daniel Lee for Bottega Veneta was a big winner on the night, scooping Accessories Designer Of The Year, Brand Of The Year and British Designer Of The Year Womenswear.

Adut Akech beat Winnie Harlow and Kaia Gerber to Best Model Of The Year, while Rihanna won the Urban Luxe Award.

And Kate’s supermodel friend Naomi Campbell was awarded with the Fashion Icon accolade.

Lottie’s glamorous night celebrating all things fashion comes after the model recently spoke to the Mail On Sunday’s You magazine about how just how un-Gen Z – the generation known for shunning booze and big nights out – she can be.

‘I have friends who ask me if I went out last night like it’s a bad thing,’ she said. ‘So I’ll say, “Yes, I had a few drinks and I went to bed at three.”

‘And because everyone’s supposed to be so healthy these days, they’re like, “Oh my God, I bet you feel so rubbish now!” But do you know what?

‘These are the same people who write “6AM!” on their Instagram posts so you know what time they went to the gym. Bore off.’

Lottie also touched upon her similarities with big sister Kate, who at 24 years her senior has recently turned over a new leaf since her 90s party days.

‘My sister never apologised for any of what she did and when she went out in the 90s, it looked jokes!’, she said.

‘The party was where you wanted to be. It was considered a good thing to have fun, but now I feel as though people demonise it.

‘All the stuff my sister used to do in the day, she’d definitely have to apologise for now. Oh my God, it would be a PR disaster.’
