Foxtel CEO Patrick Delany and Executive Director of television Brian Walsh welcomed guests with Walsh noting the series was the right fit to succeed Wentworth.

‘We deliberated about how we could possible replace such an iconic show as Wentworth,’ he said.

‘One thing we did take from 9 incredible successful seasons, was how much our subscribers love crime and high end drama. And they certainly embraced the very nature of an ensemble piece.’
