Cameron Diaz and Benito Skinner put their creative heads together to celebrate June, otherwise known as Pride Month, and promote the retired actress’ wine brand, Avaline.
Shot in the backyard of Diaz’s home, the duo get cute and show off their flare for comedy in a short video, complete with cork popping sound effects, that they both posted on their Instagram pages.
‘@bennydrama7 broke into my backyard and things got a little…dramatic,’ The Mask star, 48, joked in the caption before adding, ‘Popping off Pride Month with @avaline.’

Skinner, who’s also known on Instagram, TikTok and Twitter as Benny Drama, followed suit and wrote: ‘Here’s me breaking into cameron diaz’s backyard… if this doesn’t scream PRIDE, I don’t know what does. Gays can do ANYTHING!’
The video begins with Diaz, dressed in faded blue jeans and a white and blue striped shirt, sitting outside by herself with a big beaming smile and a bottle of Avaline in hand.
She proceeds to act like she’s popping off the cork with the loud fake sound effect, giving it much more of funny impact.
With an equally glowing smile, Skinner makes his dramatic entrance into the video by coming out from behind a tree.

They then both flip between flashing beaming smiles and an exaggerated look of curiosity in the short edits that are emphasized by a look or head turn.
A few edits in, Diaz is sitting alone and pop s a cork just as the comedian literally jumps into the cameras view while holding his own bottle.
The cork popping and sound effect increases as the video moves along.
At one point, both Skinner and Diaz dress up in a black Avaline bottle costumes with the face cut out.

As it gets closer to its conclusion, the duo can be seen jumping around together, laying down, and holding hands.
It ends with them dancing with each other, in the wine bottle costumes, and then toasting each other with bottles that are overflowing with wine
Advertised as an organic wine brand, Diaz launched Avaline in 2010 with her business partner Katherine Power, who’s the author of Who What Wear, Versed Skincare and Merit.
On its website the company offers ‘clean wine’ that’s ‘full of natural goodness and free from dozens of unwanted and undisclosed extras.’
The Avaline brand already has red, white, rosé and sparkling rosé already in the collection.

Along with The Mask (1994), the San Diego native is best known for the movies like There’s Something About Mary (1998), Being John Malkovich (1999), Charlie’s Angels (2000), Vanilla Sky (2001), the Shrek franchse (2001, 2004, 2010) and Gangs of New York.
After starring in Annie (2014), Diaz decided to take a break from acting, stating in July 2017 that she became tired of traveling for filming. She would go on to confirm her retirement from acting the following March.
Pride Month is celebrated as a tribute to those who were involved in the Stonewall Riots, which happened at the end of June in 1969.
As a result, many pride events are held during the month of June to recognize the impact LGBT people have had in the world.
