Catherine Zeta-Jones looks very elegant as she gets glammed-up in make-up chair with her dog Taylor sweetly sleeping on her lap
Catherine Zeta-Jones looked as elegant as ever as she got glammed-up in her make-up chair with her pet pooch curled up on her lap.
The actress, 53, took to Instagram on Thursday to share a whole host of black-and-white snaps of herself getting her make-up done.
She put on a very glamorous display as she got a stunning smokey-eye make-up look applied, along with lashings of mascara.
Her pet dog Taylor could be seen blissfully curled up on her lap having a snooze as her beauty regime got underway.
In one snap, Catherine held her finger up to her lips in the ‘shhh’ sign as she didn’t want her beloved dog to be disturbed from his nap.
Alongside the gorgeous snaps, she gushed over her pooch as she simply wrote: ‘#mydog #taylor.’
Her latest post comes after Wednesday star Catherine returned from her lavish summer getaway to Capri last month.
Catherine – who jetted off with her husband Michael Douglas, 78 – took to Instagram last month to give an insight into her sun-soaked holiday.
In one snap, she looked effortlessly stylish in a patterned blue cover-up which boasted a daring waist high split as she relaxed on a yacht.
She threw her dress over a black swimsuit and accessorised with a matching headband, adding some glamour with a pair of silver hoop earrings.
In another photo shared to her 5.4million followers, Catherine put on a busty display in a plunging halterneck khaki swimsuit.
She pouted to the camera while hiding beneath a huge beige woven sun hat and rocked a pair of black sunglasses.
Catherine enjoyed the lavish sun-soaked Italian getaway with her actor husband Michael, and the pair enjoyed a boat trip to Conca del Sogno, a high-end beach club in the picturesque seaside village of in Nerano.
Fatal Attraction star Michael and Catherine, who is 25 years his junior, have been married since 2000.
The couple tied the knot at the Plaza Hotel in NYC after they began dating two years earlier, and have grown into one of Hollywood’s most enduring couples.
In 2001, Catherine told Larry King of how their relationship began: ‘We met in 1996 at the Deauville Film Festival…I think it was 1996!’
‘I had been told Michael Douglas wanted to meet me. I was a little nervous because I didn’t quite know what he wanted to meet me about.’
Douglas was promoting A Perfect Murder and Zeta-Jones was promoting The Mask of Zorro.
Their friends Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith – who used to be married – introduced the actors at a private dinner and Michael asked Catherine if he could sit next to her.
He famously told her he was going to be the father of her children which shocked her, and he sent flowers soon after to apologize. They started a friendship.
‘Nine months later, I’m still having long conversations with him on the phone, having great dinner dates, constantly wondering, “Why are we not together?”‘ she told King.
‘We looked at each other one day and said, “We’re having a lot of fun together,”‘ she said.
Michael proposed at his Aspen home on New Year’s Eve in 1999 with a $1 million diamond ring.
‘Both of us were sick as dogs because we had [the] flu,’ the actor told ITV’s Ross King in 2016.
Together, Catherine and Michael have son Dylan, 22, and daughter Carys, 20. Michael also has son Cameron Douglas, 43, from his first marriage with Diandra Luker.
