UK broadcaster Channel 5 takes a brutal swipe at axed soap Neighbours as they confirm Home And Away is safe and ‘not going anywhere’
The director of programmes, Ben Frow, said the show has a lifelong deal so it will only be cancelled should the creators choose to do so.
‘It’s a life-of-series deal, so it’s not going anywhere until the makers decide to cancel it’ Ben told Radio Times.

He continued: ‘I think it will be interesting to see what we do with it as we evolve. There might be somewhere else to put it in the 5 spectrum.’

‘I could spend the money on other things, which is what I decided to do. I can better spend the Neighbours money on UK shows’, Frow explained.
