He is believed to have wanted to return to studying abroad, but his parents disagreed, leading to him killing them in a fit of rage, reported Cambodia News English.

The couple were found dead in the dormitory of a school in the city of Nanning in southern China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on August 10.

The bodies appeared to have been there for some days, local police said.

They began working with their Cambodian counterparts to locate him.
