Chrissie Swan looks downcast as she does her last ever outside radio broadcast for her Nova breakfast show with Sam Pang and Jonathan Brown after quitting the top-rating program

Chrissie Swan looked downcast as she began to wrap up her time hosting her Nova breakfast radio show Chrissie, Sam & Browny in Melbourne on Sunday.

The radio personality, 49, appeared deep in thought as she performed her last ever outside broadcast at the Corner Hotel in Richmond. 

Carrying a bouquet of pink flowers, Chrissie did manage to raise a smile as she took a photo with an emotional fan who seemed distraught to see her leave the program.

The TV and radio show star dressed in an all-black ensemble with business slacks and a T-shirt with ‘Swan, Pang & Brown’ written across the front.

The slogan was a nod to her co-hosts, comedian and television star Sam Pang and three-time AFL premiership player Jonathan Brown.

Chrissie completed the look with a pair of black slides and large gold hoop earrings as she carried a coffee cup in one hand and a pair of dark sunglasses in the other.

She slipped a bright yellow backpack on before heading off with a gifted bouquet of pink flowers wrapped in silver paper.

Jonathan also made an appearance alongside a crew member who sported the same Nova FM T-shirt as Chrissie. 

The former footy player appeared to be in high spirits, dressed in an a graphic white T-shirt and dark jeans as he carried his own parting gifts.

Chrissie will be hosting her own national radio show on the Nova Network next year after stepping down from the Melbourne breakfast slot.

The Chrissie Swan Show will air weekdays from 2pm to 4pm from January 2023.

‘I’ve achieved so much professionally and personally over the past seven years, and I’m thrilled to take on this new opportunity to embrace a new audience right across the country in this brand-new time slot,’ she said on Thursday.

Chrissie, Sam and Jonathan announced their departure from Nova 100’s Melbourne breakfast show near the end of October.

According to an insider, the announcement also stunned Nova staff, with all employees at the station receiving an email at 8.30am from Nova Entertainment CEO Peter Charlton with a press release attached.

Chrissie, Sam and Browny’s final show will air on December 2.
