Chrissy Teigen and John Legend enjoy a pool party in Italy to celebrate 10th anniversary with family and friends… after renewing their vows
The mom of four, 37, wore a darling sundress in two shades of yellow. The top, which was cut like a bathing suit top, was highlighter yellow, while the voluminous skirt was the color of corn.
The All of Me singer, 44, wore a matching shirt and shorts set featuring an abstract floral pattern on a creme background.
The couple’s two oldest kids, Luna, seven, and Miles, five, frolicked in and around the pool making use of the festive floaties.
Over the past week that the family has been in Italy, the former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model has been trotting out one glam look after another.
Today’s more causal look is a break from the formal gowns she’s been rocking.
Teigen and Legend’s guests lounged around the pool having animated discussions with each other as they all enjoyed the late summer day in Lake Como.
The couple renewed their wedding vows a the Villa Pizzo, which is where they got married on September 14, 2013.
Chrissy and John first met on the set of his music video for Stereo in 2006. In 2014, she described the day they met to Wendy Williams (via USA Today).
‘We did the music video. We were together for like 12 hours. We spent the entire day together, me in my underwear and him in a full suit, and I went to go say goodbye to him, to his hotel, and we didn’t ever say goodbye that night.’
And after that night, she played it cool and breezy.
‘I left him by himself for a while,’ Teigen told Cosmopolitan. ‘The worst thing you can do is try to lock someone like that down early on, then have them think, “There’s so much more out there.” I played it cool for a long time. Never once did I ask, “What are we?”‘
They went red carpet official at the Grammy Awards in 2008 and got engaged in 2011.
The photogenic pair got married at the courthouse in New York City before jetting off to Lake Como for their ‘official’ wedding.
In regards to the courthouse nuptials, Chrissy told E! News shortly after, ‘We actually got married after going to a couple Fashion Week shows at Vera Wang, ironically who actually did my dress, but we got married at the courthouse right after.’
‘We are dumb and didn’t realize that our Italian wedding would not be recognized unless we had a real ceremony in New York City,’ she continued.
