‘I’m knackered! Christine Lampard, 43, reveals she doesn’t plan on having more children with husband Frank because she’s ‘too old’ – as she gives rare insight into her family life

She’s a doting mum to three year-old daughter Patricia and 17-month-old son Freddie.

But Christine Lampard has admitted that she and husband Frank don’t plan on expanding their brood as she’s ‘too old’, with the star joking that her little ones leave her ‘knackered’.

In a new interview with OK! magazine, the Loose Women host, 43, candidly gave a rare insight into her family life, detailing how she and Frank, 44, cope with them currently living apart due to work.

The TV star stepped back from full-time work to concentrate on raising her young family, but despite being ‘blessed’ with her children, she told how two was quite enough because of her age.

‘I’m too old. I think if I was younger I would have thought about it, but I feel very blessed with the two of them – and I’m knackered!’

She went to say that she ‘rarely’ finds time for herself, saying that she’s in bed an hour after getting her children to sleep.

Christine added that she’s ‘blessed’ to have had her children later in life as she did ‘anything I wanted’ in her twenties and thirties, but she weirdly feels that now she’s ‘busier than ever!’

The Northern Irish beauty went on to share how she juggles life as a mum while Everton FC manager Frank spends much of his time a four-hour drive away in Liverpool.

She explained: ‘I think when there’s distance you have to make things good. We always say goodnight to each other and speak first thing in the morning. FaceTime changes everything – we live our life with FaceTime. The little ones love it now.’

She added that children have ‘no timetable’ and that you ‘do what you have to do’, and when Frank gets home he’s ‘brilliant’, noting that to Patricia and Freddie, it’s like ‘a God has walked in’.

Frank is also father to Luna, 14, and Isla, 13, who he shares with ex Elen Rivas.

And while she’s happily settled into motherhood, the former One Show host admitted that her anxieties were heightened during her pregnancies, while they went on to increase after becoming a mother.

She admitted: ‘I just worry about everything – the other day my little girl had a mark on her back and I’m straight away pressing it to see if it disappears. I’ve got thermometers dotted all over the house. I loved being pregnant but I was stressed terribly going for scans – “What if they find something?” I didn’t relax the entire time.’

Meanwhile, the star admitted that her confidence about her body has soared since having two kids, telling how ‘I’ve cared less than I’ve ever cared’ and that she’s ‘amazed’ at the female body.

Despite having a seemingly perfect 13-year relationship, Christine – who met Frank at the Pride Of Britain Awards in 2009 – also insisted that things are not always rosy behind the scenes due to Frank’s untidiness and his refusal to stack the dishwasher.

Christie ranted that she ‘bangs on’ about him not filling the dishwasher on a ‘daily basis’, before going on to tell of her frustration at him leaving his socks lying around, with her threatening to put then ‘in the bin’.

The couple tied the knot in a romantic ceremony in Knightsbridge in December 2015.
