1. DIY Linen Spray

The first – and most popular – of Chantel’s recipes is her DIY linen spray, which comprises one cup of water, one tablespoon of witch hazel (or rubbing alcohol or vodka) and 20 drops of the essential oil of your choice in a spray bottle mixed.

Chantel likes to use lavender, sweet orange or ylang ylang for a calming, relaxing scent.

‘Shake this mixture together and spray it onto your linen or pyjamas before bed to make your bed smell incredible,’ Chantel said in a video

She also recommends stripping the bed and opening all the windows to air out the mattress before putting your sheets on to make it fresh.

The second DIY recipe Chantel loves is her DIY fridge spray, which combines a cup of lukewarm water, half a cup of white vinegar and one teaspoon of vanilla extract (pictured)

‘This mix cuts through stuck-on mess,’ Chantel explained in a video

If you want to deep clean out your fridge, the mum said you should wash the glass shelving with lukewarm water, wash out your fridge containers and re-stock your fridge, ideally storing everything in glass jars to make it last longer.

Chantel also advises her followers to keep a quarter of a cup of baking soda in a shallow bowl at the back of the fridge in order to repel any bad odours.

Lastly, Chantel has a tried-and-tested recipe for a DIY window cleaner, which combines four cups of water, two cups of vinegar and half a cup of dish soap in a bucket (pictured)

To use it, Chantel you should stir all of the ingredients together and then wipe it over your windows, particularly the outside ones, to ‘cut through grime and dirt’.

4. DIY Kitchen De-Greaser

Finally, the mum-of-two shared the kitchen de-greaser recipe she loves.
