Duchess of Cornwall attends reopening of Fulham Palace

The Duchess of Cornwall beamed as she arrived at the reopening of Fulham Palace today in London.

Camilla, 71, donned a cream coat for the event, which featured a pretty pearl detailing along the seams.

Beneath the cost she wore a white dress by one of her favourite designers Fiona Clare, which featured a trendy ‘hand-drawn’ style floral print.

Her attendance comes after a busy few weeks for the royal, after attending the Trooping of the Colour at the weekend and hosting President Trump and his family last week.

The Duchess smiled as she entered the gardens at Fulham Palace to attend a reception to mark it’s reopening.

She was seen speaking to staff and volunteers during her visit to the newly restored building.

She was accompanied by the palace’s CEO Sian Harrington, and met those who worked in the garden as well as the museum.

Camilla donned a gorgeous cream coat for the visit, with delicate pearl detailing along the seams.

She perfectly matched her coat with a set of pearl earrings, and a pearl necklace.

Beneath the jacket, she wore a white dress by designer Fiona Clare that featured a trendy pattern of ‘hand-drawn’ style floral illustrations.

She previously wore the dress on a royal visit to Italy in 2017, where she met with victims of mafia violence in the region.

Further proving her style prowess, Camilla donned her Chanel pumps for the visit, which feature a very ‘on trend’ black block detailing.

She kept her makeup simple, with a light eyeshadow and sweep of highlighter bringing a little light to a rainy day.

Camilla, who is patron of the Fulham Palace Trust, appeared overjoyed to be at the event.

She went on to give a speech as she unveiled a plaque to mark her visit to the new museum.

As she unveiled the plaque, the royal was presented with a jar of honey produced by the colonies of bees housed in two hives in the Walled Garden.

The palace has been closed following the completion of a restoration project which cost £3.9 million.

It features a brand new museum, painstakingly restored Tudor courtyard and in the garden an expanded collection of historically significant plants.

The royal has had a busy few time the past few weeks, having hosted President Trump and his family at the beginning of the month.

She welcomed the politician for a state visit, joining Prince Charles and Melania Trump for a private lunch with President Trump.

And at the weekend she joined the fellow royals for Trooping the Colour, riding in a carriage alongside Kate Middleton, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at the event.
