The Duchess of Cornwall has revealed she is a fan of The Beatles – and even went to some of their concerts.
Camilla let slip her love of the Fab Four – something she has not openly discussed before – during a visit to a ‘virtual pub’.
The 73-year-old royal had been due to visit The Bevy, a community owned pub in Moulsecoomb, Brighton, to learn about their work to support local vulnerable and elderly people this week.

But it was cancelled due to the new Covid-19 national lockdown.
As she chatted over video instead to one customer Les Hamilton, 83, she asked him about his favourite music.
When he said ‘The Beatles’, she exclaimed: ‘Oh good! So did I. I was a great fan of The Beatles. I used to go to their concerts.’
In 2012 the duchess bought five Beatles T-shirts for her grandchildren on a visit to The Beatles Story exhibition in Liverpool.

Despite not breaking up until 1970, the band ceased touring four years earlier, meaning Camilla must have seen them live between 1960 and 1966, when she was a teenager.
Her revelation came as it emerged The Beatles made more than £50million last year.
The group’s company – Apple Corps Limited – banked a staggering £50,244,899 which equates to £137,657 a day.
