The Queen Vic landlord vanished at sea during the soap’s Christmas Day episodes, mere hours after reconciling with ex-wife Linda.
As the pub remains closed in Linda’s absence, Alfie Moon decides to steal Linda’s keys and re-open the bar to earn some much-needed cash.
Alfie decides to throw a summer party to whisk away the January blues, but is left stunned when a furious Linda returns home with Annie and Ollie in tow.

As Teddy threatens to call the police, Stephen hits him over the head, leaving Teddt to fall to the ground, dead.
Also on the Street, Tyrone and Fiz Dobbs’ attempts to shield daughter Hope from the thoughts of her killer father John take a dark turn, when they discover she has been listening to tapes of his voice.
Sam sees Hope in the café and discovers that she has been listening to the tape of John’s voice, and she explains that she’s been getting to know her father better by listening to him.
However, later on Hope’s tape begins to unspool, and Tyrone offers to fix it, and when he presses play, he is shocked by what he hears.
Elsewhere, a nervous Daisy Midgeley discovers the dangers of social media when she realises that she is being targeted by someone sending her flowers, while Gemma Winter reveals she is going to start offering BSL childminding.

This week, Sarah and Charity take pity on Chloe and offer her a place to stay, leaving Mack nervous that they will be living under the same roof.
He then tells Chloe that he has paid the deposit on a flat for her, and so he wants her to leave, leaving her furious that she is being pushed away.
Throughout their tense exchange, Chloe and Mack are unaware that Sarah has overheard their entire conversation, including the moment Mack insists that his expectant flame must move out.
