Elle MacPherson, 59, wows viewers with her ageless beauty on This Morning… as she drops bombshell confession that she ‘didn’t love modelling’
Elle MacPherson wowed viewers with her ageless beauty as she appeared on UK chat show This Morning on Friday.
The 59-year-old looked stylish but professional as she donned a stunning three piece denim suit.
It featured a pair of bootleg dark-washed denim jeans, a structured denim blazer, and a denim gilet vest underneath.
The Australian supermodel looked as beautiful as ever as she kept her long blonde locks down with a slight wave as she opted for a natural makeup look that showed off her bright white teeth.
However, speaking on the ITV show, the internationally renowned supermodel dropped a bombshell as she admitted that she never loved modelling.
‘I didn’t love modelling but I love what modelling brought me,’ she said.
‘I love creating imagery and producing and art directing and seeing magic come to life and its been a beautiful means to an end for me because I travel, I’m independent and I have had a large scope of a career because of it.’
Asked if modelling has opened a lot of doors for her that she wouldn’t have otherwise been provided, Elle said: ‘I think its about us stepping through those doors, those doors can open but leaning into your heart, trusting your intuition and going “this feels right I’m going to take a step towards it.”‘
Elle said she ‘fell into modelling’ as a late teen in order to pay for her education, and her ultimate goal was initially to become a lawyer.
‘My step father was a lawyer and I thought it was a very practical and stable career, but then life pulled me in a different direction,’ she said.
‘I wanted to be independent financially and [modelling] paid better, I was working in a pharmacy and a bar and it seemed to pay better so I listened to my heart and took a step towards it.
‘Ultimately I started working for financial independence and then from my [modelling] career I applied that to brands, I had a lingerie brand and then I started to invest in my own business WellCo.’
