Earlier in the episode, Charity had been seen bumping into pregnant teenager Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) at an abortion clinic and lending her support.

When Amelia asked what she was doing at the clinic, Charity claimed that she was being seen for fibroids, before viewers later found out about her own pregnancy.

In the cliffhanger ending, Charity was seen making a call to the abortion clinic before pausing the phone call to speak to her partner Mack (Lawrence Robb).

Mack said he was going to head out to pick up a takeaway for them, prompting Charity to ask if he could bring her back extra pickles with the meal.

On his way out of the door, Mack joked that ‘anyone would think you’re pregnant’, with an emotional Charity remaining silent before going back to her phone call as she kept the news a secret.

In the final lines of the episode, she said on the phone to the clinic: ‘I was supposed to have a termination today but – yeah it would be good to make another booking.’

Charity hasn’t confirmed if her partner Mack is the father, leaving viewers wondering what she will choose to do next.

She is already a mother to four biological children – Debbie, Ryan, Noah and Moses – and her adopted son Johnny.

Speaking about Charity’s news, actress Emma revealed that she has decided to keep the pregnancy a secret because it wasn’t planned.

Emma told Metro: I don’t think she can really handle the idea of letting the whole village know that she’s pregnant.

‘There’d be a lot of skepticism and judgement and she knows it because she’s not been the most successful of mothers.’

Earlier in Wednesday’s episode, Charity had been seen lending her support to pregnant teenager Amelia.

The pair formed an unlikely bond after they bumped into each other outside the abortion clinic, with Charity supporting a tearful Amelia, 15.

Amelia later had a scan revealing she was in her second trimester and would need to have a procedure for an abortion, with a nurse urging her to talk to someone.

As Charity supported Amelia, she raised questions about who the father was, begging Amelia to tell her it wasn’t her son Noah – who is soon to be released from prison.

‘Please tell me whoever got you pregnant, it wasn’t Noah,’ Charity said.

To which Amelia replied: ‘No, it’s not Noah.’

But a shocked Charity remained unconvinced, asking: ‘Oh my God it’s Noah isn’t it?’

Amelia began to respond, saying ‘please Charity’, before being cut off, leaving viewers convinced that Noah is the father of Amelia’s baby.

Noah is set to be released from prison this week before finishing his three-month sentence for stalking Chloe Harris. He is yet to forgive Charity for reporting him.

Speaking about Amelia’s pregnancy, actress Emma – who plays Charity – said the character is now convinced that Noah is the father of the teenager’s child.
