‘I hate it when people are mean to mums’: Emotional Helen Flanagan reveals she is ‘given evils’ and judged while out with her three kids – after split from fiancé Scott Sinclair

Emotional Helen Flanagan revealed she often feels ‘judged’ as a mum on Thursday as she took to Instagram to vent about a mystery incident involving her kids.

The newly-single actress, 32, took to her Instagram Story to say she got ‘really annoyed last week’ when people were ‘rubbish towards her’ and ‘gave her evils’ while she was out with her brood.

Helen shares three children – Matilda, seven, Delilah, four and 18-month-old Charlie – with ex fiancé Scott Sinclair who she split from just last month.

While she didn’t elaborate on exactly what had happened she said that it ‘really irritates her when people are just mean to mums’ after saying she likes to bring her children everywhere with her including public transport.

She said on her social media while looking teary: ‘I’m quite good I think at controlling my emotions, I’m quite busy, but I always have emotional outbursts when I’m due on…’

‘This is like a long story short, but I get, I was really annoyed last week because I won’t go into too much detail but basically I hate it when mums are made to feel uncomfortable in kind of like I don’t know..

‘I didn’t have Matilda young but youngish and I’ve always gone everywhere with my kids, like flown with them, trains, hotels and I’ve just literally always gone where I want to go.

‘I just don’t like it when you get people who basically are being rubbish towards you because you’ve got kids and you’re a mum, basically giving you the evils.’

The star continued: ‘I’m probably babbling but yeah that really irritates me, when people are just mean to mums.

‘I won’t go into the conversation too much because it’s just too long, I just get really really annoyed when people aren’t nice to mums.’

Helen discussed life as a newly-single woman for the first time last week after her split from fiancé Scott.

The star told how ‘life is good’ as she adjusts to a new routine and revealed how she is preparing for her first Christmas with her family.

She told The Sun at the ITV Palooza when quizzed on how she had been feeling in the wake of her split: ‘Good! Life is good!’

She added about her festive plans: ‘I’m the only one around my house who has got their Christmas lights up .

‘We’re probably [going to be] at home, I’m having a new dining room which I’m very excited about, so yes, Christmas at my house.’

She also divulged that she was using her time to focus on work on social media, teasing ‘working with fashion brands’.

Helen put on a very leggy display as she hit the ITV Palooza red carpet at London’s Royal festival Hall on Tuesday.

The star, who was without her engagement ring, looked sensational in a black blazer mini dress while posing up a storm at the star-studded event.

It came after the Coronation Street star is reportedly planning an epic return to the soap, following her split from Scott.

A source told The Sun Helen has been ‘missing’ her soap family and playing the character, and with nothing holding her back she feels now could be the perfect time for a return.

The source said: ‘Helen’s talking about plans to return – not this year, but maybe late next year. Bosses have made it clear they’d welcome her back and she sees the soap cast as family.

Angry: She added: 'I won't go into the conversation too much because it's just too long, I just get really really annoyed when people aren't nice to mums'

The insider added: ‘What was stopping her before was looking after her kids and Scott’s football career – she never knew where he’d sign next or where they’d live.

‘But now she’s single she’s talking a lot about going back to Corrie – she hasn’t had any official meetings yet but it’s something she’s talking about.’

Helen is yet to publicly address the rumours that she has broken up with her footballer partner in detail, the father of her three children, after a 13-year romance.

However she did share a cryptic post back in August about starting ‘a new chapter’ where she was pictured not wearing her engagement ring for the first time.
