Key ingredients include hyaluronic acid – which acts like a moisturiser magnet and can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water – and algae and yeast extracts, which are thought to encourage cell turnover.
Other ingredients include bifida ferment lysate, a probiotic made from sugars that is thought to improve the skin barrier function, and tripeptide-32 which is thought to help with skin repair.
Estee Lauder promise that their serum will ‘help reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles caused by environmental aggressors while plumping and firming the skin at the same time’.
With just one pump from the glass bottle dropper, skin will become ‘radiant and plumped’, while after three weeks lines will ‘appear reduced and skin will feel firmer’.
‘After one bottle, pores are visibly diminished, and skin looks healthy and younger, with new bounce and vitality,’ Estee Lauder said.
The serum is made without oil, sulphates, sulfites, parabens and fragrance, and has been dermatologist and ophthalmologist-tested.

Advanced Night Repair famously first debuted in 1982, when it was the only serum on the market to incorporate the now standard hyaluronic acid.
Since that point, it has gone through a number of formulation changes, including in 2020 when it became Advanced Night Repair Synchronised Multi-Recovery.
Estee Lauder say that it is suitable for all skin types and should be used at bedtime, and applied to clean skin before moisturiser.
The company suggests using several drops and smoothing it all over the face.
