A leading Harley Street practitioner has shared how a non-surgical body contouring treatment can blitz stubborn fat and build muscle – and it’s supermodel-approved.
Alice Henshaw, practitioner and owner of Harley Street Injectables and results-led skincare brand Skincycles, said many of her clients are turning to FDA-cleared Emsculpt Neo for sculpted arms, calves, butt or six-pack abs with instant results.
‘Some of our well know clients who have had treatments at our clinic are Victoria’s Secret models Frida Aasen, Nadine Leopold and Chantal Monaghan,’ Alice revealed.
‘Stubborn fat and toning can be very difficult for a lot of people, so Emsculpt is not only perfect for slender clients (toning and building muscle) but also for clients who might be holding on to a bit of extra weight they might like to target!’
Here, she shares everything you need to know about Emsculpt Neo.

What is Emsculpt Neo?
‘Emsculpt Neo is the first and only non-invasive body shaping procedure that combines HIFEM (high-intensity focused electromagnetic technology) and RF (radio frequency) energies for simultaneous fat elimination and muscle building in a 30-minute session,’ Alice told FEMAIL.
It’s basically a mini MRI machine that uses magnetic fields to help build muscles and lose fat.
Strapped to the stomach, the device fires electromagnetic pulses deep into the abdomen, which forces every single muscle to suddenly tighten, inducing 20,000 muscle contractions in 30 minutes – the equivalent of no fewer than 20,000 sit-ups.
Alice explained: ‘Emsculpt NEO has applicators that emit two energies at the same time: synchronised RF for fat reduction and HIFEM+ for muscle toning. RF heats up your muscles.
‘The temperature quickly rises by several degrees. This process is similar to a warm-up before they are intensely stimulated by HIFEM+ energy.’

Is it really effective?
While it sounds too good to be true, it works. Alice pointed out that the device offers ‘more fat reduction and muscle growth than with any single gold-standard product; in less time, non-invasively.’
The device targets a specific area, forcing localised muscles to dramatically remodel and strengthen. That breaks down nearby fat cells and should make you lose fat in the areas that most need it.
‘On average, clinical studies showed a 30 per cent reduction in fat and a muscle increase of 25 per cent. Clients usually require 4-6 sessions,’ she explained.
‘This would be impossible to achieve in the gym in such a short amount of time.’

Does it tighten skin?
Loose skin can be tightened with a course of Emsculpt Neo treatments, too.
‘The radio frequency which is part of the Emsculpt Neo is used for skin tightening and fat reduction,’ Alice said.
Alice explained how radiofrequency (RF) therapy, also called radiofrequency skin tightening, is a nonsurgical method of tightening your skin.
‘The procedure involves using energy waves to heat the deep layer of your skin known as your dermis.
‘This heat stimulates the production of collagen. Collagen is the most common protein in your body. It creates the framework of your skin and gives your skin its firmness,’ she said.
Does it hurt?
The Emsculpt Neo is so powerful it needs to be handled by a trained physician, and while it doesn’t hurt, Alice shared how the super-intense vibrations ‘can be slightly uncomfortable’.

How long do results last?
According to Alice the results are ‘permanent as long as you maintain a healthy diet and BMI’.
And while there is no need to step foot in a gym, it’s important to note this is not a replacement for exercise or a healthy lifestyle. Emsculpt can simply help users reach their fitness goals faster.
How much does it cost?
There is, however, a catch: Emsculpt doesn’t come cheap, with prices starting from £800 an area.
