The fan favourite game, McDonald’s Monopoly is set to return to restaurants next week from September 6 – and there is a bumper list of huge prizes.
The much-loved promotion was launched back in 2005 and works in a similar way to the classic Monopoly board game.
Customers over the age of 18 have the chance to win prizes by collecting game pieces from menu items such as fries, wraps, drinks and McFlurry’s.
Simply by peeling off the game pieces from these selected items, customers can instantly win free food items and bigger prizes such as a £2,000 holiday with TUI.
Fans can also choose to collect property pieces of the same colour to earn the most extravagant prizes via the MyMcDonald’s app and mcdcollect.co.uk, where they will then get another chance to win.

The games ‘Collect to win’ prizes range from an Omen Gaming laptop to £100,000 cash and a MINI Electric Car.
Meanwhile, the list of ‘Instant win prizes’ is just as exciting, with fast food fans given the chance to win a range of cash prizes, gift cards and experiences.
You’ve got to be in it to win it – 165 prizes were won every minute last year, 77 million stickers were peeled and 10 million prizes were claimed in total.
This is a huge step up compared to the six million prizes claimed in 2021.
The £100,000 top cash prize will be available to win for four lucky customers and the second top prize of the MINI Electric car will be up for grabs for 20 players.
The massive £100,000 reward only requires you to collect two properties – Park Lane and Mayfair – but the Mayfair one is the most rare with only five printed in total.
Additionally, 85 people will get the chance to win the £2,000k holiday with TUI and a 200 people will get the £80 GoApe voucher.
If you’re one of the 2,000 people to win the McDonald’s Gold Card, you get one meal at the chain for free, every week for a year.

As well as the top prizes there are of course the millions of instant food wins and thousands of chances to get your hands on McDonald’s Merchandise.
McDonald’s also revealed that those in the West Midlands were luckiest last year, with 5,4000 winners announced in the region- second up was London with 5,300 winners.
To celebrate the return of the game, stars and fans gathered at London’s King Cross Station today (August 30) to try their luck at winning an array of the Monopoly game prizes.
The experience saw a huge McDonald’s Monopoly ‘burger’ dome game, where members of the public were challenged to catch as many flying ‘peelies’ as possible.
The loved-up couple Millie Court, 26, and Liam Reardon, 24, in their first official outing as a couple again wasted no time in going head-to-head in the giant dome.
2023’s Dancing on Ice runner-up Joey Essex, 33, also kept the crowds entertained throughout the day whilst they queued for the chance to win prizes.
The dome will be Birmingham Bullring on Friday 1st September if you fancy trying your luck – If not, there’s not long to wait until Monopoly hits restaurants up and down the UK on September 6.
