Fears for teenage girl, 19, missing for more than three weeks

A desperate search is underway to find a teenage girl who went missing three weeks ago. 

Latoya Brown, 19, was last seen at a home on City Road, Chippendale, in Sydney‘s inner city, about 7.40am on Sunday 19 October.

She was reported missing after she failed to return home and could not be contacted or located.

Police officers were notified about her disappearance on Saturday, November 18 and have launched a search to find her.

Loved ones say her disappearance is 'out of character'

There are concerns for her welfare due to her behaviour being out of character. 

Latoya is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Islander appearance, about 168cm tall, of slim build, with long brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a blue jumper, grey pants, black slides and carrying a brown bag and black purse.

She is known to frequent the Glebe, Redfern and Waterloo areas.
