Fiancée of I’m A Celebrity’s Jill Scott says the Lioness has given ‘her all’ despite being petrified

‘You never see any emotion’: Fiancée of I’m A Celebrity’s Jill Scott says the Lioness has given the jungle ‘her all’ despite being petrified – and she is not expecting to win… despite being the fan favourite

Jill Scott’s fiancée has said the I’m A Celebrity star shows ‘no emotion’ despite being petrified of the gruesome jungle challenges and is not expecting to win the show.

Shelly Unitt, who runs a coffee shop called Boxx 2 Boxx says she thinks her loved one has ‘adapted well in the jungle’ when appearing live from Australia on Good Morning Britain on Friday morning.

The Lioness, 35, is the last woman standing in the camp alongside Owen Warner, Matt Hancock, Mike Tindall and Seann Walsh – but is the fan favourite to be crowned Queen of the Jungle in Sunday night’s final episode.

Talking to showbiz reporter Richard Arnold during his I’m A Celeb segment for GMB, Shelly said: ‘She adapts to every situation thrown at her.

‘She said before going in the eating and drinking wouldn’t bother her… but the height thing is massive – I can’t believe that challenge.

‘I watched it with my hands over my eyes, I knew what was coming but with Jill you never see any emotion.

‘Even though she was petrified she done it and never showed it.

‘I think Jill’s really adapted well in the jungle, she’s given it her all. She loves the outdoors and it’s a massive challenge for her.

‘With Jill being in the jungle, she wasn’t expecting to win, she was just going in there for herself, but Jill sees every day as today, so she’s not going to be thinking about winning.

‘She’s just going to be seeing every day and seeing it through.’

As of Friday morning, odds on betting website William Hill are in Jill’s favour – with the former footballer at 5/1 in comparison to Owen Warner at 5/1 and Matt Hancock at 6/1.

Earlier this week, the proud fiancée also appeared on Lorraine to reveal the ‘messy’ Lioness will do ‘lots of charity work’ following her I’m A Celebrity stint.

Shelly also confessed that despite appearances, Jill will have been ‘scared’ during the walk-the-plank trial at the beginning of the series, which she conquered.

Asked whether it’s Jill’s sense of humour which everyone is drawn to, Shelly admitted: ‘Yes definitely she’s all with her one liners.

‘She’s funny, creative, outgoing and encouraging her teammates. I didn’t expect anything less of her. She’s an all-round good person and it’s hard to not like Jill.’

On Thursday night’s episode, Jill told fellow campmate Seann Walsh that she would love to have a naked David Beckham as the chef at her dream dinner party.

She made the revelation as the group spoke about their perfect dinner guests.

Starting the conversation, comedian Seann asked: ‘What about guests at the dinner party – let’s say one alive, one dead, one fictional, who you going for?’

Jill said: ‘Joey from Friends, Princess Diana and Roy Keane. Princess Diana was just such an inspirational woman, I just want to hear the whole story.

‘And then can I have the naked chef David Beckham.’

Seann said: ‘Why not?! He’s allowed an apron but no clothes underneath.’
