Weird: The Al Yankovic Story is directed by Eric Appel and based off a screenplay he co-wrote with ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic.

For the film, Wood bursts onto the screen as Madonna at the height of her inimitable Like A Virgin era in the 1980s.

Perfectly emulating the queen of pop’s iconic style, Wood is pictured rocking a black sheer top with a white-patterned skirt, along with crucifix necklaces and her blonde tresses teased.

Brunson looks like a dead ringer for talk show host Oprah decked out in an orange-brown dress and her raven locks in a shoulder-length style while standing next to Radcliffe as Yankovic.

The biopic also stars Rainn Wilson as Dr. Demento, Toby Huss as Nick Yankovic, Al’s father and Julianne Nicholson as Mary Yankovic, Al’s mother.

The film will follow the story of Weird Al ‘in the unexaggerated true story about the greatest musician of our time.

Radcliffe portrays the rebellious Yankovic, who grew up in a family with ‘an unconventional upbringing where playing the accordion was a sin.’

‘Al rebelled and made his dream of changing the words to world-renowned songs come true. An instant success and sex symbol, Al lives an excessive lifestyle and pursues an infamous romance that nearly destroys him,’ a synopsis read.

Earlier this year, fans got a glimpse of Radcliffe in full Weird Al regalia, which included him al made up in his signature Hawaiian shirt and mustache.

Then in May, a trailer dropped that gave another glimpse into what’s in store with the movie featuring Yankovic’s Like a Surgeon, which is a parody of Madonna’s hit song Like a Virgin.
