Things are moving uncommonly quickly here in the first weeks of Fortnite’s Chapter 2, Season 4, where Marvel Superheroes invade the island for all sorts of licensed hyjinks. Just last week we had the arrival of Ant Manor and Panther’s Prowl, and we even had a huge dump of Awakening challenges available right at the start of the season, or at least as soon as you unlock them in the battle pass. There’s a lot to work with, but as usual everything hinges on the weekly challenges, and Week 2 was just made available today. Let’s take a look:
- Search Chests at Salty Springs: 0/7
- Eliminations at The Authority: 0/3
- Dance on top of different Sentinel heads at the Sentinel Graveyard: 0/3
- Destroy boats at Craggy Cliffs: 0/7
- Bounce on different dog toys at the Ant Manor
- Ride a Motorboat under different colored steel bridges
- Search S.H.I.E.L.D Chests inside Quinjets
Mostly pretty straightforward here, though there’s also another Wolverine Challenge in the mix. It asks you to find a loading screen at a Qunjet patrol site, so you can take care of that one alongside searching S.H.I.E.L.D. Chests, which is an annoying acronym to type.
Other than that, the only new location here is Ant Manor. For where to find that one, click here.
Challenges have been pretty straightforward for a Season or two now, with most of them leaning on established locations or giving away the game by putting new ones on the map. I do sort of miss the weird, map-wide scavenger hunts for gnomes and that sort of thing, but to some degree the Awakening challenges have taken the place of those.
So get to finishing these and making some progress on your battle pass: Iron Man is one hell of a reward, and you’ll want to get up to Tier 100 with enough time left to finish up the Awakening challenges and not be left with lame, superhero-less superhero skins. I’ll particularly enjoy the Sentinel Graveyard this week, I think.
