Gemma Collins poses up a lot storm in pink velvet loungewear amid parents’ coronavirus battle

She’s been very quiet on social media since revealing that her parents are battling coronavirus before Christmas, calling the situation ‘petrifying’.

And Gemma Collins made a glamorous return to Instagram after a seven-day break from posting to her grid as she posed up a storm in a pink velvet tracksuit.

The TOWIE star, 39, looked sensational as she relaxed on a cream chaise lounge and showcased the striking chilled look from her own collection.

Gemma exuded confidence in the La Rosa set as she rested her hand under her chin and pouted for the camera. 

She wore her long blonde locks down and styled into waves, letting them cascade over her shoulder during the shoot.

The beauty ensured optimum glam by donning a full face of makeup including a slick of pink eyeshadow and lipstick to complement her velvet gear.

Although returning to Instagram, Gemma did not give an update on how her parents, Alan and Joan, are doing.

It comes after Gemma shared a family photo and sent positive thoughts to those in need amid her parents’ health battle.    

She penned: ‘Your family are the best team you can have. sending so much love hope and faith to everyone right now.’ 

A young Gemma was seen wearing a white tee and skirt as she beamed alongside her mother, father, and brother Russell. 

While in a separate Instagram Story, she shared the same image of her with Alan, Joan and Russell and wrote: ‘My everything’.

Gemma revealed just before Christmas that her parents are ‘extremely unwell’ after they both tested positive for COVID-19. 

Addressing her fans, the she admitted she was heartbroken after witnessing them struggle with the impact of the respiratory illness. 

She also urged followers to stay safe and heed all necessary guidelines as the country continues to be under restrictions and a lockdown.

Sharing an image of her mother and father, she wrote: ‘Please please please take notice of the guidelines ! Both my parents are extremely unwell with Covid 19 !

‘Seeing my dad cry which he never does ! Was a shock and say he would rather be dead then experience everything he is going through right now… this has totally wiped him out and it’s heartbreaking… my mum also is extremely extremely unwell with Covid also, this is real ! 

‘And please please take notice and keep your loved ones SAFE… it really is petrifying. what a difference a year makes ….’ 

On Boxing Day, she thanked the NHS staff on her Instagram stories for looking after her father Alan at Queen’s Hospital in Romford. 

Sharing a picture of her father’s doctor, the TOWIE star gushed that Dr Angus Ehien and his team have been ‘incredible’.
