EXCLUSIVE: Georgia Toffolo enjoys a get-together with her on-off boyfriend George Cottrell and Nigel Farage in Mayfair
I’m A Celebrity queen of the jungle Georgia Toffolo was said to have split up with financier ‘Posh George’ Cottrell, who was once jailed for fraud, but she seems to have won his heart again.
My exclusive pictures show the Made In Chelsea star, 28, enjoying a get-together in Mayfair with Cottrell, 29, and a group of friends including former Ukip leader Nigel Farage, for whom George used to work.
Toff was seen tenderly stroking the shoulder of Cottrell, with whom she first started going out in 2019.
However, their on-off relationship was said to have ended earlier this year when it was reported that she’d signed up with celebrity dating app Raya.
George — whose mother, the model Fiona Cottrell, once went out with King Charles — spent eight months in jail in the U.S. in 2016 in connection with a money laundering conspiracy. He is said to have a fortune of £300 million.
As well as Farage, they were joined at their Mayfair pow-wow by Richard Tice, chairman of political party Reform UK. With Farage, he helped create the Brexit Party.
Just this week, Farage told Robert Peston that he ‘wouldn’t rule out’ a return to frontline politics. Clearly, he’d have Toff’s backing.
Georgia was first linked convicted fraudster George back in 2019, and they are understood to have had an on-off relationship for the four years since.
It was reported that they had split up once again in February this year, as Georgia was said to have joined a celebrity dating app Raya in the hopes of finding new love.
At the time, a source told The Sun: ‘Georgia wants a fresh start in all areas of her life… She and George had a very on-off relationship and since putting her reality TV days behind her. She is looking for someone she can settle down with.’
The news came almost a year after the former TOWIE star had confirmed that she and aristocratic ex George were back together, in May 2022.
She said she was ‘really, really happy’ after rekindling the spark.
In a chat with The Sun, the TV personality explained that she is keeping her romantic life private, to avoid having to ‘justify’ things if they go wrong.
But adding a small insight, Georgia told the publication: ‘All I can say is that we have just been hanging out, and I’m really, really happy and everything’s going really well and I don’t want to jinx everything’.
George has hit headlines for his battles with the law, after being convicted in 2016 for his fraudulent crimes.
But standing up for her relationship, Georgia also told the publication: ‘I don’t want to have to justify why I’m with someone or why I’m not.’
Admitting that while she’d like to share more detail on her personal life, the star said that the speculation is ‘too much for me’.
‘I’d like to sort of shout from the rooftops about everything, but when you’ve got people speculating whether I am with someone, that is too much for me. I’ve got to keep one bit for me,’ she explained.
