Halsey revealed that her baby son Ender doesn’t like her singing voice while appearing Monday on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on NBC.

The 27-year-old singer while wearing a red floral print gown was congratulated by Jimmy, 47, for having 11-month-old Ender with her screenwriter boyfriend Alev Aydin.

‘Does he love it when mom sings to him? Do you sing lullabies to him?, Jimmy asked.

‘Oh. No. No, he hates it. No, he’s my biggest critic,’ Halsey said.

Halsey said that when her mother ‘who can’t carry a tune in a bucket’ sings that Ender’s eyes light up ‘like she’s the stars and the moon,’ Halsey said.

‘But when I sing, he’s not a fan,’ Halsey said. ‘Not a fan.’

Halsey said that Ender gives her a face that looks like he’s about to cry with lips trembling when she sings to him.

‘So he was hired to write a movie about me kind of like 8 Mile, less spaghetti. But I was gonna wear the cool hoodie though,’ Halsey said.

Halsey said he followed her around on tour and was interviewing her and one day after a few years she decided to turn the tables and interview him.

‘We found out that we had so much in common and after being friends for a long time, we fell in love,’ Halsey said.

The biopic got complicated since Alev has a ‘conflict of interest’ now as a main character, Halsey said, but he did direct the music video for So Good.

‘So it was kind of like a mini taste of what it could be,’ Halsey said.

Jimmy suggested that Millie Bobby Brown, 18, should play her in a biopic and held up a photo of Halsey looking like Millie’s character Eleven in the Netflix show Stranger Things.

Halsey teased that Jimmy should play her instead and he gave a side-eye as his pre-set interview took an unexpected turn.

Jimmy crumpled up a piece of paper and threw it to the ground before Halsey started playing along and said Millie would be ‘so great’ at portraying her.
