The Wait For It PSA was made by RepresentUs, a nonpartisan organization that seeks to ensure safe and secure elections and the importance of counting every vote.

A record number of people are voting by mail or have deposited their completed ballots in official drop boxes in this election because of the COVID-19 pandemic and that results in some races may not be clear on election night.

In some cases, it could take days for the final tallies to be confirmed.
