The Actors Studio alum admitted the mask gives limited visibility, but ‘when someone does come across your field of vision… you see they sort of change in their demeanor. Like, people who are usually very confident become a little more timid and shy.’

Hayden confessed he was ‘sweating buckets’ while wearing the suit. When it got too hot, the suit was hooked up to a machine that would circulate cooling liquid around his body, which added to the frightening aspect of the costume.

The actor shared that it took up to five hours for makeup artists to create the villain’s burned and scarred body.
