Hollyoaks SPOILERS: A MAJOR character is set to be murdered in a shocking whodunnit mystery in the soap’s epic annual Stunt Week
Hollyoaks villain Rayne Royce is set to be murdered in a drama whodunnit plot twist in the coming weeks.
The character, played by Jason Donovan’s daughter Jemma, has caused chaos in the village since her arrival earlier this year but someone decides to get their own back on her in upcoming episodes.
Given how many residents Rayne has targeted over the past few months, there are no shortage of suspects for her murder.
She has been gaslighting and manipulating the village to be able to further her career while others have been pushed away so she can have Romeo Nightingale (Owen Warner) all to herself.
Previously, she has made vile and false allegations against Prince McQueen (Malique Thompson-Dwyer), who has now teamed up with Peri Lomax (Ruby O’Donnell) and James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) to expose Rayne and bring her down.
Digging into Rayne’s ex Brent, who horrifyingly took his own life, she boasted that she had encouraged him to do so.
In an upcoming episode, Peri is set to receive some shocking information in the process.
However as one thing leads to another, Rayne’s left in serious danger as more of her secrets from her past are exposed.
With Rayne getting close to what is going on, Peri’s life becomes in danger as she prepares to drop the bombshell.
Peri goes missing, leaving the village petrified for her safety.
Hollyoaks have now released a teaser for its upcoming Stunt Week, showing several of the suspects declaring that they would choose to kill Rayne.
In the clip, Rayne herself declares that the old her is dead and Rayne 2.0 is now here after being seen submerged into a swimming pool.
Speaking of her exit, Jemma said: ‘I am so excited to announce that Rayne’s reign is finally coming to an end with an incredible stunt week that I am over the moon to share with.
‘You guys, it’s going to be full of drama, full of love, full of chaos but the big question is, who did it?
‘I’m so excited for the speculation. I can’t tell you – but it’s a good one so hope you all enjoy.’
At the end of the month, viewers will be treated to an hour-long special filled with murder mystery manor and several dramatic stunts.
The mansion party is led by Faye Fuller (Maddy Smedley).
