Hollyoaks SPOILER: Child killer Bobby Costello FINALLY learns his fate in court as his mum Mercedes vanishes ahead his sentencing

Hollyoaks‘ child killer Bobby Costello will finally learn his fate in court next week, as his mum Mercedes struggles to come to terms with the prospect of her son being behind bars.

Bobby was arrested last year for starting a fire at Price Slice while DeMarcus Westwood was trapped inside, with the child also being responsible for deaths of serial killer Silas Blissett and Mercedes’ ex Sylver.

Now, as Bobby finally learns whether he will face a lengthy prison sentence, Mercedes has done a disappearing act from the village, leaving the rest of the McQueen clan to try and track her down.

Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) was previously arrested on suspicion of helping Bobby (Jayden Fox) with his crimes, as she desperately tried to prevent her killer son’s acts being brought to light.

But in scenes set to air next week her brother John Paul (James Sutton) learns that she is being held on remand somewhere else, leading her boyfriend Felix (Richard Blackwood), to try and investigate.

However, it is soon revealed that Mercedes had been released weeks ago, leading her family to try and track her down.

As Bobby’s sentencing looms, Felix and John Paul are determined to find Mercedes, and even enlist the help of a private detective.

Eventually Felix finds Mercedes and convinces her to come home suggesting she let out her frustrations by boxing and insistig she needs to take some responsibility for Bobby’s behaviour.

Goldie (Chelsee Healey) decides to head to the court for Bobby’s sentencing, though she is far from supporting him.

Bobby has become one of Hollyoaks’ most prolific killers, after leaving Mercedes’ husband Sylver to die in a fire.

He then murdered killer Silas by pushing him on a chessboard connected to an electric wire, and was also responsible for Verity Hutchinson’s (Eva O’Hara) death by pushing a book case on top of her.
