For the coloured chocolate, she simply melted three squares of white chocolate with food colouring and some cooking oil before piping the mixture into the moulds.

Emily repeated the process several times for all the different coloured chocolate she wanted to include.

The backs of the chocolate are all the same – 100s and 1000s ($3.50) added into melted white chocolate and piped in last.

The mum said her children were ‘overjoyed’ by the simple snack and she couldn’t wait to make the homemade Freddo Frogs again.

She simply bought a chocolate frog mould off of Ebay which is now sold out – however, Whip-It-Up Cake Supplies sells a similar product ($4.50).

She then let them sit in the freezer until they set and were ready to serve.
