An organisation queen has shared her simple method for folding grocery bags and creating extra storage space in kitchen cupboards. 

Chantel Mila, who is better known as Mama Mila online, shared the easy bag-folding trick in a video posted to her popular TikTok page.

‘Who else has a bag full of other bags in their cupboards right now?’ the Melbourne mum-of-two asked her 900,000 followers.

Chantel first laid a reusable shopping bag from Woolworths flat on her kitchen counter and smoothed it out.

She then folded the bag twice vertically until its width had reduced significantly.

After that, Chantel took the bottom left corner of the bag and folded it diagonally upwards so that the corner of the bag was shaped like a triangle.

Chantel continued to fold the triangles up until she reached the top.

The last step is tucking the bag’s handles into one of the various pockets that were created by the origami.
