With the winter freeze truly here it’s time to stock up on some warmer clothes – and this Friday, you can do so for free, courtesy of Uniqlo.

The Japanese clothing store is set to allow Australians to pick garments from their Heattech range this week, with absolutely zero cost.

Between 7am and 7pm this Friday June 14, shoppers should head to Martin Place in Sydney and locate the giant Uniqlo T-shirt installation.

If they want the items, they will then need to have a ‘thermal Polaroid photo’ taken inside the installation, which will then be printed and given to them alongside a unique code.

Once they have this shoppers should head to the Uniqlo store in the MidCity Centre in Sydney and redeem it for a free Heattech item.

Heattech is a revolutionary fabric that works with your body to generate heat and retain it.

It does this by converting moisture into warmth.

Even if the temperature suddenly changes, the lightweight layer has been designed to keep you comfortable and cosy all day.
