This is the jaw-dropping moment a 52-year-old man got a huge video-game logo tattooed on his face after losing a bet.
Now, the name of the online game – which is popular with children and teenagers – is splashed in bold black letters above his right eyebrow.
‘Your mom’s going to kill me,’ Donny can be heard saying in the clip, which has racked up more than 21.1 million views. – although some people have insisted it’s just a henna tattoo.
The man winced as Memphis – urging his father to stay still – worked his magic on the design.
In a later post, he shared his mother’s reaction to the reveal.
‘Why would you do that to your f***ing face,’ Sarah, 48, asked, shocked. ‘Fornite? Fortnite?!’
But the son stood by his artistry, saying it shows his father’s fun-loving personality – and insisting that his dad – who is himself also a tattoo artist – is more than happy with it.
‘In this household, we don’t do things by halves; we go all-in, no half sends,’ he explained.
‘Judging by the constant tears of joy, it seems Dad’s face canvas is a masterpiece that keeps on giving.’
He said Fornite was chosen because it was ‘the battlefield of choice in their household’s epic saga of sibling rivalry and conquest’.
‘I thrive on turning family competitions into living art,’ he added.
Memphis admits his mother was ‘blindsided’ by the ink.
‘A plot twist that left her both shocked and intrigued,’ he joked.
‘The ink saga doesn’t end here – Dad’s now in contemplation mode, plotting the next chapter of his tattooed narrative.’
The clip showing Memphis’s parents arguing about the tattoo reveal racked up more than two million views – but many aren’t convinced that it’s genuine.
‘I refuse to believe it’s real,’ one comment read.
‘it doesn’t even look like it’s there,’ a second added, insisting they couldn’t see it anymore in the ‘reveal’ video.
Some even insisted that the tattoo ‘wasn’t there’ anymore, whilst a third suggested: ‘It’s probably the disappearing ink tattoo.’
‘I think its a henna, or whatever it’s called, tattoo,’ another agreed.
