Plunging into the wilder side of the property market, a new video takes viewers on a tour of a $30 million mega mansion in Los Angeles, which looks like it could be nestled in the heart of a jungle.
YouTube property expert Enes Yilmazer gained access to the home and even he was wowed by the scale of the place, along with its uber-luxe amenities ranging from a basketball court to indoor living walls carpeted with lush swathes of moss.
The six-bedroom property, called ‘Allure,’ was masterminded by Iranian-American developer Ramtin Ray Nosrati, who is known for his jaw-dropping designs.
He tells Enes in one scene: ‘When you are staying in this home it just kinda makes you forget about everything else… you feel like you’re on vacation. It just kinda calms you.’
Drone shots of the home show how it is framed by lavish foliage and mature trees, with no neighbors in view.
Adding to the resort feel, there is a large swimming pool at the heart of the property, with an outdoor kitchen-cum-bar space next to it.
One of the unique features of this space is a cascading waterfall, which serves as a divider between the pool and dining area.
Enes says at one point while giving the tour: ‘This backdrop is absolutely insane, this is awesome.
‘I feel like I’m in Bali right now, in a wild jungle. I just happen to have all of these incredible amenities and this beautiful contemporary home.’
For sports fans, the home serves as the ultimate oasis, with a basketball court, a pickleball court and a putting green.
Upping the game further, the basketball court features Michael Jordan branding.
Concluding his tour of the ground-level outdoor space, Enes says: ‘Personally the colors here, the energy, [the] water feature, landscaping… all of it coming together. I really dig this backyard.’
Moving inside, the home features an open-plan, ground-floor living area, which leads through to a slick kitchen space.
Enes points out some of the kitchen’s main features including a stone-clad main island, a built-in dining area, and a cooktop, which is incorporated into the countertop.
He points out that this is one of Ramtin’s signature design features.
For entertaining on a grander scale, there is a ‘really spacious’ chef’s kitchen hidden from view, complete with a walk-in fridge.
Continuing on the entertainment theme, some of the home’s other offerings include a three-row movie theater decked out with a twinkling starlight ceiling and a temperature-controlled wine room with pegs on the wall for bottles to be displayed sideways.
Then, topping things off, there is a sprawling rooftop that can accommodate more than 100 people, with multiple seating areas, a dining table and a bar.
For fitness fanatics, there is a state-of-the-art gym with mirrored walls, a small sauna, a full bathroom and doors opening out into the yard, while motorheads will be happy to note that there is a sizeable three-car garage and a motor court that can accommodate 10 cars.
On the accommodation side of things all of the bedrooms serve up ample amounts of space, but the pièce de résistance is the primary suite – which offers more than 3,000sqft of space.
On entering the suite, Enes highlights the plush seating area comprising a couch, coffee tables, a double-sided fireplace, and a TV with this flowing through to a ‘really nice-sized balcony’ facing the backyard with a firepit.
In the bedroom, an oversized headboard frames a king-sized bed and Enes says wood paneling on the walls and ceilings ‘give more warmth to the space.’
A doorway leads through to the master bathroom, where there are two water closets and an oversized walk-in shower with a built-in bench and steam features.
Catering to fashionistas, the primary suite also boasts two walk-in closets with the larger one serving up a private balcony.
Summing up the property, developer Ramtin describes it as a multifaceted property.
He tells Enes: ‘It’s a family house. It’s a fun house and it’s a house that you would like to entertain in but it’s a house that you also want to raise your family in.’
The property designer also notes that he went about installing light features to enhance the property at night.
He concludes: ‘To me twilight is extremely important. [The home] has to look just as good, if not better, in the evening than it does during daytime.
‘I mean you walk in during the day you’re already in love and then you come back at nighttime and you’re just obsessed and it’s game over.’
Allure, which sits on a 1.3 acre plot, is currently listed with Huntington Estate Properties with a $29,888,000 price tag.
The listing states that ’embraced by lush California flora and captivating canyon vistas,’ the home ‘offers an unparalleled experience that captivates both leisure seekers and sports enthusiasts.’
