In her lengthy caption the star revealed she has learnt to let go of the ‘wrong people who are like emotional vampires’ and make her feel ‘worthless’.

She penned alongside a sweet picture of her as a young girl: ‘I’ve seen this exercise before and it’s resurfaced and become popular lately in a recent interview with Kendall Jenner. The exercise includes taping a picture of yourself as a young, vulnerable, carefree little you, in your bathroom mirror.

‘Every single day you will look in the mirror and be reminded to be kind to yourself, because by being judgmental and self-loathing you are just hurting the little person inside of you.

‘I had thought about doing this recently and I definitely should have a long time ago. While on a two-day road trip I gave all of this some thought. I have been through a lot in my life thus far. I am privileged and so grateful beyond because compared to so many I have it all.’

She continued: ‘I’ve caused a lot of pain in my life as well as received it. I’ve had some pretty uncomfortable realizations as to who I am and what I want. Most of my life plans have failed or gone in new, frightening directions.

‘Boy have I learnt the hard way many times. I have finally reached a place where I see that this little girl deserves better. Sometimes you are forced to shed people out of your life like a snake sheds its skin.

‘Sometimes I was the friend who needed to be shed from someone’s life. I needed to learn that lesson. Sometimes I’ve let go of the wrong person and regretted it. Most of the time I hold onto all of the wrong people that are emotional vampires that bring no value to my life and my happiness in any manner.

‘This ties back into the exercise. I look at my photo and ask doesn’t she deserve to be loved? To be surrounded by people who believe in her and believe in what she’s capable of? Would you look at her and tell her she couldn’t do something or even attempt to achieve her wildest dreams.’

She signed off by saying: ‘I am really proud of the person she is today. Too many people have let her down and taken advantage in her most vulnerable years and I have to protect her now. If people make you feel less than and worthless, show little you some respect, say bye bye and never look back.’

As she answered, she revealed that in the past she has been asked in a nasty, passive-aggressive manner.

Baldwin said that she’s a ‘business owner,’ and has multiple plans with her boyfriend, musician RAC, that include ‘opening up a café, wine bar and a boutique,’ as well as ‘starting a brand together.’

Furthermore, Baldwin said she’s also a ‘foster rescue dog mom,’ adding, ‘I work in adoption, I work with a lot of fosters and a lot of rescuers.’

It didn’t stop there, as she added that she’s involved in screenwriting, as she and a colleague have a production company.

‘We pitch TV shows and we write movie scripts, we work on commercial stuff,’ Baldwin said. ‘Things are just kind of getting started for us. Everyone has to start somewhere.’

When she was asked if she has ever ‘worked an hourly job for hourly wages,’ Baldwin said she had experience working alongside her mother, actress Kim Basinger, helping rescue animals, and also had jobs at an ice cream shop and clothing stores.
