Jamie Lee Curtis, 64, looks incredible in a plunging cut-out mesh gown with slick Paul Mescal as British Vogue unveils its annual Hollywood portfolio

Jamie Lee Curtis and Paul Mescal were among the 30 famous faces gracing the pages of British Vogue for their annual Hollywood portfolio ahead of awards season.

The actress, 64, looked incredible in a plunging cut-out mess gown for the magazine’s A-list heavy spread in their upcoming February issue, which also stars Michelle Yeoh, Micheal Ward, Cate Blanchett and Taylor Russell. 

She was joined by Normal People star Paul, who donned a white embellished suit as they paid homage to the roaring Twenties in the glittering photoshoot that took place in stylish locations across the globe.

In the stunning photos, Jamie wore a sleek black gown that featured carefully placed mesh inserts and an elegant silhouette. 

 She accessorised with an array of chunky silver bangles as she posed at the Getty Villa Museum in Los Angeles. 

Speaking to the publication she offered some guidance to young people: ‘The same advice I give young people who want to do what I get to do: “It’s so f**king fast – you will be shocked at how fast it all is. Try to be in the present moment.”

Jamie also added the best advice she has ever received: ‘I’m an old woman. The advice would have been long ago, probably from my mom. I think she said, “Just be you, even though it’s going to feel bad a lot of the time,” which it did.’

Paul wore a crepe suit and a shirt by Alexander McQueen, encrusted with crystals on the lapel and below the pocket on his leg. 

The actor, who recently starred in critically acclaimed Aftersun, describe his first ever audition.

‘It was for Phantom Of The Opera. I sang “I Can See Clearly Now”. I was incredibly nervous and was told to stand up straight and look strong. My whole body was shaking – I was a hot mess,’ he explained.

Paul added that his favourite actor is Adam Driver because ‘he just doesn’t miss. Ever,’ before saying he would describe his job as ‘professional pretending.’

Elsewhere, Cate wore a plunging Giorgio Armani bustier top that was heavily beaded with a pair of smart black trousers.

Meanwhile, Taylor wore a pleated Gucci gown as she channeled Old Hollywood glamour on a balcony at New York’s legendary Chelsea Hotel. 

The February issue of British Vogue is available on newsstands and via digital download from Tuesday 24th January.
