And Jodie Whittaker looked every inch the doting mum as she carried her baby with her during a stroll with her mother Yvonne in north London on Thursday.

The outgoing Doctor Who actress, 39, looked relaxed in a pair of baggy light denim jeans and striped shirt for the low-key outing.

Jodie added a pair of colourful high-top trainers to the look while carrying a small brown handbag over her shoulder. 

She wore her blonde tresses in messy waves and opted for a makeup-free look to show off her natural beauty while donning dark shades on top of her head.

The star hasn’t confirmed the baby’s gender or date of birth but announced that she was ‘happily and healthily’ pregnant in February.

She is set to have more time to spend with her second child once she makes her final appearance as the Doctor this autumn – being replaced by Ncuti Gatwa.

The Broadchurch star confirmed she was pregnant with her second child in February after prompting speculation on the Brits red carpet.

She was pictured clutching her blossoming baby bump in a bespoke billowing dress.

The dress brand, Cimone, said her look was ‘created specifically to incorporate her pregnancy’.

Miss Whittaker made history as the first female Doctor when she replaced Peter Capaldi in 2017.

Her final adventure in the role will be a one-off special airing this autumn as part of the BBC’s centenary celebrations.
