The Body Coach star Joe Wicks has proved fitness runs in his family after his two children joined him and his wife for a ‘workout’ in their home gym.
The father-of-two, 34, from Surrey, kept the nation moving during the first lockdown, with live workouts every morning at 9am.
And he appears to be doing the same for his children as he took to his Instagram Stories on Wednesday, admitting it was ‘chaos’ in his home gym, with he and Rosie, 30, joined by daughter Indie, two, and son Marley, 16 months.
At the beginning of the clip he explained: ‘It’s chaos in here right now. So Rosie is trying to work out, I’m trying to send my videos and the two little rascals have come up.’
Mini-mes! Joe Wicks, 34, took to his Instagram Stories on Wednesday admitting it was ‘chaos’ in his home gym with his wife Rosie, 30, and his two children Indie, two (pictured), and Marley, 16 months. In an adorable clip he helped the pair do dead hangs on the squat rack
Joe asked his young son Marley, who had chalk covering his hands, whether he wanted to do some ‘hanging’ – referring to dead hangs from the top of the squat rack.
He then picked up his daughter Indie and taught her how to prepare her hands for the move.
Joe asked her how many seconds she was going to hang for, to which she responded: ’30 minutes.’
The father chuckled: ’30 minutes, what? That’s a world record!’
A world record! The father-of-two fitness guru asked Indie how many seconds she was going to hang for, to which she replied ’30 minutes’, with Joe declaring it a world record. Joe stood close behind her, clapping his hands for 20 seconds as Indie held onto the bar
Joe stood behind her and counted to 20, clapping his hands and holding them around her for support, as Indie clasped onto the bar.
After holding her own bodyweight for 20 seconds, Joe caught her and it was time for Marley’s go.
Joe lifted Marley to the bar and stood close by as he held on, holding himself up as his father counted to 10. He praised his son, calling his effort ‘amazing’ and asking for a high five.
Last month Indie showed off her very own weights as she demonstrated how she’s following in her father’s footsteps.
Strong: Then it was Marley’s turn, as Joe lifted him to the bar and stood close by as he held on, holding his own bodyweight as his father counted to 10
Exercise done for the day! After the 10 seconds were up, Joe praised his son, saying it was ‘amazing’ and asking for a high five
In a sweet clip shared to Instagram, the exercise guru showed off his child’s pink 0.5kg dumbbells, before she displayed her impressive athletic skills.
A proud Joe said: ‘Look at her little weights, she’s got her own set of dumbbells, 0.5kgs.’
The personal trainer’s mini-me went on to perform shoulder presses and lunges, with the doting parent cheering on: ‘Show them what you do with the weights.
‘You put them up, do you wanna do some squats? Lunges? That’s it! Good lunges! What else can you do?’
The fitness star launched his PE with Joe initiative when the UK was plunged into its first lockdown in March 2020, helping him raise over £500,000 for the NHS through YouTube advert revenue amid the pandemic.
Impressive: In a cute clip shared to Instagram last month, Indie proved she was following in her father’s footsteps as she showed off her new set of 0.5kg dumbbells, before performing shoulder presses and lunges
